Chocolate and Ginger Sauce
- 150ml/5fl oz milk
- 2 tbsp cream
- 50g/2oz plain chocolate
- 25g/1oz butter
- 1 tbsp golden syrup
- 2.5cm/1in root ginger, grated
- Put the milk in pan to heat. Bring to the boil and add the cream, keep warm.
- Put the chocolate and butter in a bowl and mix well. Grate the ginger into the mixture, add the golden syrup, hot milk and cream and stir until melted.
- Sieve the sauce and keep warm until needed.
